LEVI’S X Swarovski

DIAMOND CUT DENIM

THE OVERSEEN

The Strategy

"Diamond Cut Denim" repositions Levi's classic 501 as a canvas for personalization through Swarovski embellishment. Rather than positioning it as a luxury collaboration, we framed it as everyday luxury-a way for Gen Z to transform their wardrobe staple into something visually striking without sacrificing authenticity.

The target: 18-30, trend-driven, aesthetic-led consumers. They care about self-expression, Y2K revival nostalgia, and elevated basics. They live between streetwear and luxury, influenced by TikTok trends and celebrity styling. They want something that photographs well and feels genuinely theirs.

Campaign Execution

•Creative Direction: Developed visual language across editorials, styling, and lookbooks that positioned embellished denim as wearable, not costume-y

•Art Direction: Cast, styling, and shoot direction that felt authentic to the target-not high fashion detached, but relatable cool

•Concept Development: Built the full campaign narrative from insight through messaging to visual execution

•Editorial Strategy: Created editorial series and "Style Magazine" features that showed the collection in real contexts (laundromat, nightlife, everyday moments)

Why It Works

It doesn't scream "luxury collaboration." It whispers personalization. The embellishment feels intentional, not overdone. The styling shows real people wearing these pieces, not models on a runway. That authenticity is what sells to Gen Z-they spot inauthenticity instantly. The Strategy
